Perodua Eco-Challenge 2009

Congratulation to USM Mechanical Engineering Team that gamble their time, effort, and energy to win the Perodua Eco-Challenge 2009.

On the 20^th June 2009, the team embarked their journey to Speedway PLUS Circuit and competed with 11 others learning institutions. In the A/T category, USM emerged as a champion with a fuel consumption of 23.5km/liter. The first runner-up was UNITEN with 20km/liter followed by second runner-up, UiTM with 19.7km/liter. In the M/T category, the champion was Polytechnic Ungku Omar with a fuel consumption of 25km/liter. The runners-up went to UMP with 23km/liter and UNISEL with 22km/liter respectively. For the Engineering Design and Presentation category, USM again emerged as the overall best institution making us the big winner of Perodua Eco-Challenge 2009. The 2^nd place goes to UiTM with UNITEN in the 3^rd place.
